The Boys and the Princess

A lot have changed when K1 and K2 came into our life.  While it is a significant event for us, one could see how it limited our activities and how it affected us as social beings.  Suddenly we have dependents to think and take care of and they became our bosses as we respond to their needs and wants.  Responsibility kicks in, compelling us to dedicate our time and attention to them for their best interest.  Don’t get me wrong, we find happiness and fulfillment in having our kids and in turning our world 360 degrees.  We have no reason to complain as we feel so blessed.

H and I seldom meet our friends and we do not stay out late.  We do not go out at night and we would rather be in our home and be with the kids than to be out late at night.  Again, it is not that we do not want to meet up and be with others.  It is just that we find that the kids were shortchanged since we are working on weekdays.  They will only be kids for a while and we do not want to miss the firsts that we see and witness.  Hence, the conclusion to make our weekends sacred and dedicated to the little ones.

Our place likewise changed.  The quiet and serious house now became a home.  There are toys everywhere and one cannot miss the giggles and the little voices.  K1 and K2 are happy and contented in having each other, that, I wish to assume. They keep each other company and they become inseparable. :)

Last weekend, our visitors arrived from the US.  The company is composed of my two sisters, my BIL, and --

-- my niece CM and nephew NC!  It is NC's first visit to the Philippines and to meet K1 and K2.

Oh, our home is noisy and the kids are rowdy BUT we are loving every minute.  After all, CM and NM will only be here for less than a month.  Enjoy your vacation CM and NM!

And CM, being the eldest, you have to deal with the naughtiness and playfulness of your three followers. :)
